You'll be so enraptured by the gameplay and by trying to perfect your swing that you'll hardly notice much else beyond your immediate surroundings anyway. The holes themselves look fine but there is not a lot of detail beyond your immediate area.
The graphics are good but not on the same level as the gameplay and physics modeling. The disc flight, related to user input, atmospheric conditions and so on is incredibly believable and the basket modeling yields the same frustration in real life when you stick one in the center of the chains from less than 15 feet and a bad bit of luck keeps her from sticking. The developer said he worked seven months perfecting the physics and it was not time spent in vain. There’s also a lack of in game explanations and I’m not sure how wear comes into play and there’s a couple more things that came to mind earlier that I don’t remember now of course but some tips would be sweet. I would like to suggest a pass and play option so you can compete with a friend just for fun or maybe even an online pvp matchup thing. Tell your group that they are going to be whisked off to a desert island in just 5 minutes. The numerous discs available is awesome especially cause I throw west side plastic. I love that I can play from anywhere, on the road, on my break from work, or in the middle of the night in the comfort of my bed. I was already super addicted to disc golf and with triple digit temperatures this summer it’s been hard to get out there and play, but this game is definitely a fun substitute.
